Dear Sisters be blessed in the Lord,
I know these next few days can be difficult for many women, whether they be married, single, widowed, or divorced. I just wanted to share something what the Lord showed to me so that you are encouraged and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God understands you and He loves you more than anyone else could ever love you. Do not let the cares of this world steal your joy or make you feel isolated. God loves you!!!!!!!!!
The passage below actually relates to Israel and God promising to redeem Israel. My intention is not to take the passage out of context and make it into something that it is not. Instead, I simply want to show the choice of situations that God uses for explanation. God uses the painful situations that women sometimes find themselves in to explain how He will redeem Israel, which just shows that He understands the female heart.
4Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. 5For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. 6For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God. 7For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. 8In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer. Isaiah 54:4-8
If you are in need of comfort, please turn the Lord Jesus and commit your worries, cares and concerns into His hands.
28Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30
